The hidden world of a nail salon

Jamie and #2 wanted to ski and #1 and #3 wanted to stay home; It’s a Daddy-daughter day!

Little did I know that our adventures running errands around town would lead me to a place that I’ve never really fully experienced in my 41 years on this earth… the nail salon.

Upon our entry I was shocked to see that it was packed! The best way to describe it is organized chaos. There were a few ladies ahead of us but with the employees running around and shuttling customers from front to back, it wasn’t long before the girls were sitting down with a technician and the polish color they choose for their nails.

I know my daughters have been here before but I was still impressed with how they fell right into the routine of clean, polish and dry. The girls tried to get me to get my nails done too but this place was way to busy to squeeze me in for all the work I’m sure my nails need. However, I’m sure I would have enjoyed the free massage and back rub that comes while one sits and let’s their nails dry. Who knew!?

What an interesting system to watch and observe on a Saturday afternoon. By the way, I think I was out the door for under $25 which I have no idea is good or bad. All that matters is that there are 10 fingers in the house that are now glittery purple and 10 fingers that are different shades of green depending on the air temperature. The best part is the owners of those fingers are happy that Dad took them to the nail salon.
