It’s not very often that the Mikolay brothers get together now that we are spread across the country and responsible adults to a small herd of children. However, this past weekend, yes, Valentine’s Day Weekend, we descended upon New York City without our wives and children for a few days to catch up and relive our childhood.
Within minutes of coming together Friday evening, we reverted right back to our old ways. Teasing, name calling, full body checks in the elevator and general immature behavior prevailed until the moment we all left each other Sunday afternoon. Needless to say, my sides still hurt from all the laughing but the rest of my body still aches given that we were also competitive in everything else we did to include running around the City together Saturday morning.
Below are some photos and a video from our adventure. A big thanks to our wives and kids for allowing us to reconnect and spend a few days time together. We made another set of memories and once again strengthened the bond of brotherhood. I wouldn’t trade my brothers away for the world and I thank them for being who they are, what they do and for the support we mutually provide one another.
